We are dedicated to teaching safe, “prudent” driving habits that last a lifetime.

Yes! We offer a Ministry-approved course that includes online theory and in-car lessons. Completing this course can make you eligible for an insurance discount and allows you to take your G2 road test 4 months earlier.

Our Driving School primarily serve students in Kitchener and Waterloo. If you live in surrounding areas please contact us to discuss availability and potential meeting points.

Absolutely. We offer free pickup and drop-off from your home, school, or workplace within Kitchener and Waterloo at our driving school. This makes it convenient to fit lessons into your busy schedule.

We require 24 hours’ notice for lesson cancellations. This allows us to offer the time slot to another student. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.

Yes absolutely! We plan lessons according to our mutual availability.

Our standard in-car lessons are 60 minutes long. However, we can arrange for longer sessions (e.g., 90 minutes) if you prefer intensive training or are preparing for a highway test.

That is exactly why we are here! At Prudent Drivers, we specialize in teaching nervous beginners. We start in quiet, low-traffic areas to help you master the basics of vehicle control before moving on to busier roads.

You must bring your valid G1 or G2 driver’s license to every single lesson. Without it, we legally cannot take you out on the road. We also recommend wearing comfortable, flat shoes (no flip-flops).

Yes. We offer a Road Test Package that includes the use of our safety-inspected driving school vehicle for your exam. This also includes a warm-up lesson immediately before your test to calm your nerves.

Every student is different. During your first lesson, we will assess your skill level and recommend a plan—whether it’s a full package for beginners or just a few refresher lessons to fix specific habits.

Yes, we can book the test for you at the Drivetest centre of your choice, according to our mutual availability.
